Ladies Night

Women love to dance.  All of them, I think.  Even ones with no rhythm whatsoever.  They all just seem to love dancing.  Drunk women love to dance together, in a big circle, with other drunk women.  And when they do, they also love to sing along, looking at each other in a knowing way as if the lyrics to “Single Ladies” or “I Will Survive” were penned specially for them.  It’s true Suzy, he “shoulda put a ring on it,” but don’t worry girlfriend, you “will survive” because, after all, you’re “every woman”, aren’t you?

Because no one has ever gotten laid playing Panda Bear or Kraftwerk records for the ladies, you need to have an iPod override playlist at the ready, just in case a bachelorette party or some other pack of drunk women descend upon the bar for cocktails.  Here’s what’s playing for “Ladies Night” at The Velvet Elvis:
